Lovense Nora Review:

My Unbiased Opinion Of The Nora by Lovense

Written by: Angela Watson | Updated: May 26th, 2023

Welcome one and all to my fellow frisky females. I recently stumbled upon an absolutely remarkable vibrator that is sure to dazzle even the most experienced vibrator user.

This eight-inch source of endless gratification is none other than the Lovense Nora. Don't ask me how to pronounce their brand name, as I'm not 100% sure how to do so properly.

However let me tell you, their products speak for themselves.

Powerful, customization oriented and with app support, it doesn't take long to figure out why this product has some serious buzz surrounding it (no pun intended).

As a standalone product, the Nora does not disappoint but it has a fantastic added functionality that allows you or your partner to control your sexual experience remotely as well as the capability for long distance sex.

That's right, long distance sex

This toy has become a favorite for me and my husband since we can use this toy no matter how far apart we are.

This product really surprised me at first. It's unlike any other vibrator I've ever used. The vibration sensation is amazing, and the shaft has a decently long design which makes it awesome for deep vaginal stimulation.

It's quickly becoming one of my go-to personal vibrators, and it's the only vibrator I've been able to use with my husband while apart from one another.

The Nora is a unique style of vibrators that connect to Wifi, which allows your partner to control the vibrator remotely via their smartphone app.

It can also be used alone without a partner, and their app is super user-friendly.

Our Experience Using It

The Solo Experience

Before we get into what makes the Nora innovative in the realm of getting your rocks off, let's talk about the device itself and what it has to offer.

The entire device comes in at about eight inches total length, with 4.73'' of that length insertable. This is perfect for most women and the extra bump reliably provides for an experience that lends itself to full body convulsions. The head offers a full 360 degrees of rotation, I spend no less than the average commercial break's worth of time to find my G-spot. I like to multi-task, okay?

Some other basic specifications are that it's fully submersible & waterproof, nearly whisper quiet, and lasts two hours on a full charge. These features are expected of a female sex toy of this caliber and the device would feel much less complete without them.

The head slips easily between lips of any level of tautness and is bulbous enough to provide a full feeling without being uncomfortable.

The head rotates a full 360° which turns G spot location from guesswork to using what feels like pussy sonar technology.

There are three-speed levels with regards to the rotating head.

Moving down the shaft the user is treated to peaks and valleys specifically designed & refined over years thanks to customer feedback to provide stimulation unparalleled by any other product you can find.

This leads down to the overhanging clitoral stimulator that really packs a wallop. This rabbit hops along nicely at any of the three-speed levels you can select could easily be packaged and sold as its own device.

Lovense spared no expense in putting some power into their rabbit, it has a very strong motor. I was pleasantly surprised to not have my clit neglected as is all too common with these rabbit style vibrators.

What sets the Nora apart from rabbit vibrators of similar shape and function is that the clit arm is not dinky whatsoever.

Most rabbit vibrators put most of their effort and value into the portion that is inserted into the body and totally neglect the clitoral stimulator, leaving you with a frail end piece that just gets in the way more than anything.

This is absolutely not the case with the Nora, their clit stimulator is POWERFUL. It's so delightful I wouldn't blink at buying it as a standalone product, it's strong and consistent. It elevates my orgasm potential to something only describable as heroic.

The Lovense Nora comes complete with the ability to pair it to any Bluetooth enabled device and be given the choice with a slider how fast either the head can rotate or the clit stimulator can buzz once you download their app. I love using the Nora simply because I can leave my phone in arm's reach and adjust the settings on the fly without having to fumble with the button while it's deep inside of me.

The Duo Experience

Now you understand how I've mentioned the Bluetooth app allows you to control the settings of this device remotely? It can be used by any smartphone (yes, iOS, Android, any of them) or even a PC with the bundled Bluetooth dongle with the app that has been given permission to have access to your Nora.

Do you see where this is going? Your significant other or anyone you're comfortable with giving permissions to gets to use the app from anywhere in the entire world that has an internet connection to control your masturbation experience.

There's something that really turns me on about having my husband play a major role in my orgasm without even being in the same country as me as he travels frequently for work. The app lets him bring me up and down at his will and he knows just how to push my buttons without having to be there to push any buttons on the Nora.

The Nora & Max Combo

The Nora is allowed to be paired withe Lovense's interrelated male product, the Max. Our in-depth Max review covers everything you'd ever need to know about it, but for the purpose of this article, I'll keep the description of the Max brief.

My husband and I both enjoy playing with each other whilst away from each other. We've actually written an article about our experience having long-distance sex, using the Max & the Nora.

The Max is a male masturbator not unlike a Fleshlight, except the insides have motors and vibrators of their own placed inside. When paired, whatever is felt on the outside of the Nora is replicated inside the Max through the use of vibrators and air pumps.

When used in conjunction with the Lovense app this means both partners have control over the sensations the other gets to feel with the toys. Many lonely nights away from my hubby have been made much more tolerable thanks to this technology. The Nora and Max are a fantastic way to bridge an intimacy gap caused by distance.

Where's The Best Place To Buy It?

Possibly one of my favorite vibrators, I recommend you consider buying this product directly from the official Lovense store. I've had mine for about two years now and it's still going strong.

The crowdfunded nature of Lovense toys has always made them dear to me, as if the Nora is the People's Vibrator. It's the first toy that helped me close the intimacy gap in my occasionally LDR relationship, so I might be biased but I think it's been a huge help.

Is It Worth Buying?

If you're looking for a rabbit vibrator that has the same amount of love and care in both the clitoral and the vaginal arm, the Nora is your girl.

There's a bit of a premium for the Bluetooth connectivity, powerful motor, and strong battery, yet I don't feel as if it is overpriced.

It's a perfect example of getting what you pay for. When you can't settle for anything less than the best at a price that's equitable, Lovense always comes in strong.

The Nora even takes home the crown of  best rabbit vibrator, the linked post shows just how much the Nora has going for it compared to similar options.

Conclusion

So, ladies, in its own right the Lovense Nora is a fantastic vibrator that practically specializes in spine chilling orgasmic prowess. A rotating head, devilishly shaped shaft and thrilling clitoral vibrator make for an absolutely stunning experience.

This is a high-end vibrator that is improved upon every year, as it is now in its 5th generation. The 2017 additions were focused mainly on improving the sensors made for transmitting & receiving movements between partners, but earlier improvements were making the clit arm more flexible and improving the charging port. I highly recommend this product for all of its features and well thought out design.

So I’m interested but have 3 questions.

1. How much control do the buttons on the toy give?

2. Can I save certain features on the app and pick them out like presets?

3. Am I absolutely going to need my phone every time I want to use it?

Sorry for asking 3 questions in one comment…

How firm is it?

I bought the Nora. For starters, this toy was amazing. The two times I got to use it. Please note: I used the toy.

The charging cord for this toy consists of two dots on the bottom of the toy, and two dots on the charger. You would think that there would be magnetic settings that would keep the charger in place, that is not the case. You have to prop the charger up so that it stays (hopefully!) connected to the toy.

After the 2nd time I used the toy, approximately two weeks after getting it, the toy just stopped working. When I push the on the button the toy would buzz once, and then go dead.

I contacted customer service. They cheerfully told me that they needed a video of the toy NOT working. Show that the toy is plugged in, and then show what happens when you hold the button down for 5 seconds. I did this and tried to upload it to their site. I got a 404 error. They (again cheerfully) responded a week later asking me to try again.

After I uploaded the video, I received the email below. For starters, I should not have to pay for the shipping to go back to the company.
Second, they are going to take a toy that has been used and cut it open? This is creepy.

Needless to say, I find this whole process extremely inconvenient and costly. But I am going to send it back to them just so they can have my used toy 😀
