Often referred to as "clit sucking toys" or "clit sucking vibrators", clit vibrators serve a very simple purpose, the stimulate your clit. I know, shocking.
The clitoris has long been underserved sexually, due to its placement on the outside of the vagina it has long gone unnoticed and untouched by mainstream sexual dogma.
As far as intercourse is concerned, only about 25% of women can consistently reach orgasm through penetrative sex alone.
As for everyone else? It's all in the clitoris, girls.
Some women can get off via penetrative sex, but all women can get off via clitoral play.
Evolutionary scientists suspect that the clitoris in women would have continued to develop into a penis had the fetus been a male as opposed to a female. Consequently, the clitoris is jam packed full of extremely sensitive nerve endings that serve as the gateway to the female orgasm across the board.
It is for this exact reason that I recommend any women who's trying to find the elusive O to invest in a quality clitoral vibrator that's meant to give the clitoris everything it so desperately needs plus a little extra as a thank you for being so patient all these years.
If you're one of surprisingly many women who have reached sexual maturity and have never had an orgasm, I sincerely wish I could prescribe you a clitoral vibrator and have your insurance foot the bill. Whether you've never had, seldom had, constantly had orgasms, or just want to harness as much orgasmic power as you can in your own personal toy box, the clit vibrators contained in this list are sure to make for a night not only worth remembering, but worth repeating as well.
Whether you choose a sonic vibrator, a bullet vibrator, a wand vibrator, a rabbit vibrator, the sheer amount of options at stimulating the clitoris are somewhat overwhelming. This guide will show you all of my favorite options and the pro's and con's of each.
Without wasting anymore time, here are my favorite clit vibrators:

Lets go over
each toy!
#1 - The Sona by Lelo (My Top Pick)
If you're looking for the best clit vibrator, in my eyes, that vibrator would be the Sona.
Sonic vibrators like this one are extremely powerful pieces of equipment when it comes to making sure the clitoris is well taken care of. In fact, women who become acclimated to a sonic vibrator like the Lelo Sona love how quickly it can bring them to orgasm, the fact that these orgasms can be set up to be come one after the other is a secondary benefit that to me shows the true staying power behind this technology.
You see, when the Sona is first applied to the clitoris, the sonic waves radiate deep into the clitoris tissues as opposed to staying surface-level like more traditional vibrators. There's a two-fold effect because of this. Firstly, the clitoris will quickly become engorged due to increased blood flow in the area caused by the waves, followed by an exponential increase in sensitivity thanks to the extra blood. The easiest way to describe it is to think of it like a she-rection.
The waves themselves are extremely pleasurable and can be fine tuned to an individual's level of sensitivity, you might even find yourself overwhelmed at first by the raw power made possible through this toy. If you wanted to follow up with more traditional vibrations while your clitoris is engorged, the option is also there. To put it as simply as possible, the Sona is great for delivering strong pulsations throughout the entire structure that is the clitoris to the point where Lelo having an Orgasm Guarantee on this toy wouldn't be a crazy idea.
#2 - The Domi by Lovense (Runner-Up)
This is in fact another wand-style vibrator, but the Domi differs from the Magic Wand in a few ways that I find particularly tantalizing.
Instead of having a head that rotates, there are two motors inside the head that run opposite to each other which completely eliminates any grindstone effect that is typically reported with this type of vibrator. The Domi is also much more portable and easily handled compared to the Magic Wand, at the small expense of needing to be recharged every now and again.
Compared to other vibrators of this type, the Domi has a nearly limitless amount of vibration patterns if you make use of the Lovense Remote app (something that also enables long-distance sex, but that's another story) and it is surprisingly powerful for its smaller than average size. My Domi is one of my favorite Lovense toys, the day it conks out on me my neighbors better be prepared for the 21 gun salute and flag flown at half-mast, it will be missed dearly.
At least for a week until the replacement comes, I suppose.
I actually named Domi the #1 pick in a separate post about the best wand vibrators.
#3 - The Lovense Ambi
While not as powerful as the We-Vibe Tango, the Lovense Ambi manages to make its way on to this list thanks to its more than adequate power level married to an atypical design shape.
Instead of being purely bullet shaped, the Ambi is more like a hammer in its construction. Instead of having to worry about having one perfectly shaped head that can deliver different kinds of stimulation, there are effectively three different usable heads while the top portion works as a fantastic handle during more vigorous clitoral masturbation sessions.
The "expected" end of the toy is perfect for delivering a much more generalized sensation of relief and pleasure to the clitoris and surrounding structures while the small pointed end towards the top is what should be used for direct, pin-point stimulation. The other end also works well if you'd like to have vibrations coursing through each and every nerve ending that's connected to the clitoris.
Should you decide to pick up the Ambi, I suggest you hold on tight, it has a nasty habit of running away from me if I lose my focus during a session. I swear, it was Ambi's fault each time and not my own.
#4 - The Tango by We-Vibe
For those who like to stick to the fundamentals of how to satisfy the clitoris, something like the We-Vibe Tango is a match made in heaven.
This bullet vibrator is small & light in the hand but provides pleasure I'd much more readily associate with a full-sized toy. Tango delivers unbelievably powerful vibrations thanks to its expertly placed & designed motor as well as the fact that it has an ABS plastic exterior. Silicone toys tend to absorb some of the vibrations created by their motors while ABS plastic does a much better job at transferring the full power on offer.
That power I'm talking about? Keep it in mind as you check out the slanted tip of the Tango. Should you choose, you can have those vibrations delivered either through the pin-sized tip or by placing the entire flat portion over the clitoris. Just a little bit of moving, shaking, and keeping yourself from falling off the bed later, expect an orgasm the likes few toys can deliver, much less one that's barely bigger than a tube of lipstick.
I rated the Tango #1 on a separate post about the best bullet vibrators that I've used.
#5 - The Original Magic Wand by Hitachi
Now this is a toy that has stayed relevant in female pleasure for over 60 years (not a typo, sixty!), it's more a testament to the power of the two toys above than it is an insult to this toy that it places third on this list. Before women were comfortable taking to the streets and finding a sex shop to help fulfill there needs, Hitachi was dutifully there helping women across the nation reach satisfaction.
The end of the toy rotates extremely quickly and is then placed on top of the clitoris to work its magic. There's just something about this toy that overrides the portions of your brain that wants to lightly tease an orgasm out of you, instead giving way to a downright voracious desire to reach climax again and again with little rest time in between.
It's a favorite of mine when I'm strapped for time or otherwise impatient for my daily dose of sexual hedonism. It's simple to use: only off, fast, and fastest are your options when using the toy. So long as you keep the toy in motion to avoid the "grindstone effect" there's very little negatives about this toy. It's under $100, has a proven track record of what must be hundreds of thousands of women by this point, and never needs any battery changes (unless you opt for the wireless version, of course).
#6 - The Touch by We-Vibe
For most of human history the fingers have been the tool of choice when it comes to giving the clitoris what it wants & needs so badly. If you look carefully, the Touch is trying to capitalize on this biological phenomenon but also adds some mechanical flair.
Pinpoint as well as general stimulation is on offer with the majority of the toy's vibrating power being focused towards the end of the toy. It is curved in such a way that it can delicately hug the clitoris for broad strokes as well as get within the folds of the clitoral tissue for stimulation that's beyond noteworthy.
Throw in the fact that there's enough different vibration patterns right out of the box to keep anyone entertained for at least a few weeks at a time and you have a winning combination.
It may not be as pretty, powerful, or attention grabbing as others on this list, but I assure you it has earned its place as a clitoral commandant ten times over before I took the time out of my day to make this list.
#7 - The Zumio (X & S)
The Zumio X & S are two vibrators made by a company called Zumio.
I know, their creative department really went all out picking the names of each vibrator. I was thinking the same thing when I first heard about them.
The toys work by rotating a small tip in a 360 degree fashion at extremely fast speeds for unparalleled pleasure. The push and pull between the slightly bendy tip and your body adds a feeling of sexual tension not present in all toys.
The Zumio provides a type of clitoral stimulation that I've not experienced using any other toy to date.
Those who don't like to learn new things & like their clitoral stimulation less intense might not appreciate all this toy has to offer, but I certainly appreciate my Zumio.
I'd recommend you read my in-depth Zumio review to learn more about this toy.
#8 - The Jimmyjane Form 2
The Jimmyjane Form 2 is a toy I recently had the pleasure of testing out.
The only reason it's at the bottom of this list is because I am adding this product after publishing the article initially.
This is a totally unique clitoral vibrator which delivers intense clitoral stimulation through the two vibrating ears you can see in the picture. The ears can be manipulated and adjusted to form to all sizes of clitoris'.
The toy is controlled via the buttons on the side of the toy which some people may not like, but I personally am a big fan of. For clitoral toys I actually prefer being able to control the speed and vibration using the buttons on the toy rather than using an app or remote.
The Jimmyjane 2 is worth checking out if you're looking for a toy that is capable of delivering intense clitorally stimulated orgasms.
Conclusion
Well, that's all I got for you. I'll be adding to this list of toys as I find new clit vibrators that get the job done for me.
