Sex In A Can by Fleshlight:
My Unbiased Review
Written by: Don Watson | Updated: December 20th 2018
Update: Fleshlight has released a newer version of this product (the Four Loko Fleshlight).
Some people affectionately refer to body spray as shower in a can.
Well, today is all about Sex In A Can.
Sex toys that look too accurately like a human vagina can easily cross the uncanny valley and leave you with a weird feeling simply by looking at them. I believe this reasoning is part of the continued success of many of the top dogs in the industry, knowing just how far to go to keep things sexy but not so raunchy that the 2000s will call and ask for their shady backroom toys back.
That was the original hope with Fleshlight's discreet all-black design who's shape didn't make it immediately obvious as to the true purpose of the device. Over time though Fleshlight products have became as easily recognizable as male masturbators, no longer can you really get away with lazily leaving it on your computer desk and pull the wool over people's eyes.
To help make things discreet again, a line of Fleshlight toys known as Sex In A Can was developed. There's four different varieties that all have their own texture and orifice. An enterprising wankster can select between a regular mouth, an itty bitty booty, a vagina, or a vampire's mouth (yes, really) for an orifice and each has a specific sleeve.
These toys go by the names of Sukit Draft, O'Doyle's Stout, Lady Lager, and Vampire Succu Dry, respectively.
For the purposes of this review, I decided to go for the Lady Lager because I need not know what getting a blowjob from a vampire is like just yet, maybe closer to Halloween my mind might change.
Sex In A Can toys are smaller in both diameter and height than the typical Fleshlight, it doesn't make much sense to make it look like a beer can if it doesn't have similar dimensions, and the last thing I'd consider discreet is a giant one-liter beer that's actually something you put your schlong in, if anything it'd make your family's intervention for your "drinking" even more awkward than they thought it'd be. It's the size of your typical tallboy, enough said.
That being said, the outer designs of some of the Sex In A Can products fare much better in the stealth department that others. O'Doyle's Stout and Sukit are regular and busy enough in their design to quickly pass as an imported beer, but the Lady Lager and Succu Dry are particularly eye-catching with the LL being extremely bright in color and displaying "Contents: 6.10 Inches" prominently while the SD is something I'd 100% expect my buddies to get their grubby little fingers all over.
The ability to choose an outer design and preferred sleeve separately would do nicely should Fleshlight offer it. In my mind, it's kind of like those "stash cans" I've seen some of my stoner friends use that are branded as Dank Soda or something that broadcasts the very thing it says it's trying to avoid broadcasting. Still, the cheeky designs have an appeal of their own if you disregard the discreetness factor and for some it'd be less of an embarrassing thing to own if they have some mental hangups they just can't shake.
It shouldn't come as a shock that the reduced dimensions of the exterior make for some serious implications to the sleeve.
It's not as long as the full ten inch Fleshlight and is considerably tighter. In fact, sometimes the tightness made me think of balloons popping too much for me to bother even trying to thrust, it's perfect for people who are looking for a tighter than average toy. It's personally a touch too much on the tight size for me. I think this extra tightness is also why it goes through lube so quickly, so I make sure to have enough on hand if I'm in the mood crack open a warm one. The mouth orifice pokes out far enough from the plastic housing to get some squish out of it but is pretty tasteful in how much it extends out from the outer shell.
The bottom is used to control the tightness of Lady Lager, guys in the medium range of penis length will get the most out of this toy, maybe they'll make a FleshBottle or something in the future if people really like the extra tightess but are more well-endowed. Go all out, even, make it so I can clip it to my belt.
Fleshlight seldom reuses old sleeve designs in new toy lines, and if they do its because there's more than one option to start with from the get-go. Same case here, an entirely new sleeve design is on display that alternates between glans shaped pockets and very tight channels, makes sense why there's not a whole lot of wiggle room.
It's not a bad toy by any stretch of the imagination, a real knockout if you want a tighter and more compact version of the fuller sized Fleshlight. I would suggest picking one up if my earlier description of how it's internals and externals appeals to you or if you'd like to expand your existing Fleshlight armory.
At the same time, it isn't particularly a standout to me personally. But, it isn't a one size fits all toy, so I get it. It doesn't collect dust, and it's probably somewhere at the male masturbator equivalent of an orange that's just about to start going on it's way out as far as durability. I've been tempted to try some of the other Sex In A Can varieties, but the tightness is most likely because of the smaller diameter case than the sleeve.
For reference's sake, a full sized Fleshlight has 8.5 inches of insertable space (model dependent), the Fleshlight Go has 7 inches of insertable space, and each of the Fleshlight Flight models come in at 6.5 inches.
Sex In A Can is listed with a total sleeve size of 6.8'', which puts it somewhere in 6.3-6.5'' of insertable space. In case it also interests you, the smallest Fleshlight is the Quickshot at 3.5 inches, although that's a toy designed for a slightly different type of masturbatory safari.
