Lelo Loki Review:

Testing "The Worlds Strongest Prostate Massager"

Written by: Don Watson | Updated: June 18th, 2023

Today's the day for another prostate massager to be on the chopping block. Its another release from Lelo who I can only assume has an entire wing of their offices dedicated solely to things men shove up their rear ends.

This massager is the Lelo Loki, named after none other than the famous trickster god from Norse mythology.

And to that effect, it does have a few tricks up its silicone sleeve. The design kind of perplexed me at first, because it doesn't have a base that contours around the rear end to be as unassuming as possible.

Instead, it is kind of like a sword in design, in that it has a handle that extends outwards from the anus. I was laying on the bed with it inserted and Angela said whoever could pull it out would be crowned king, she has a habit of making jokes when I have things up my body.

I'll be honest with you, it took a long time for me to be comfortable with the idea of prostate massagers and other anal toys.

However, now that I've fully experienced what they have to offer, they have become a regular part of my masturbation routine. When coupled with normal masturbation, I end up having the kind of orgasm that I need to sit down after having.

The Lelo Loki is personally one of my favorite prostate massagers, and it's probably the one I used most often as it's size fits my bottom very snuggly.

Let's get into what the Loki has to offer:

Design & Specs

The Lelo Loki is made from 100% medical grade silicone on the insertable portion while the handle is made from ABS plastic. It's very similar to the Loki Wave which has an added "come hither" motion as well as a second vibrator arm which stimulates the perineum.

It is curved very accommodatingly to hug the prostate but it isn't a very sharp curve, insertion is very straightforward after some lube is applied and I never felt like I had to struggle to get it in.

To top it off, the toy is completely waterproof up to a depth of one meter. While I doubt you'll be disappointed you can't use it in the pool, it is nice to use in the shower since play and cleanup can be bundled into one activity. I shudder at the thought that some people take one of these things out of their behind and then leave it on their nightstand, uncleaned.

There are six different vibrating settings that vary from a strong rumble to a consistent vibration in feel. You can adjust the settings on the handle of the toy. For once I actually miss having app control on this one, as changing it in use requires a bit of stretching. The toy is advertised as having a noise level of 50dB, which is about how loud a normal conversation is, I'd say that's true.

In typical Lelo fashion, the device can be charged via USB.

The Loki has a charge time of around 2 hours but it can be shortened to an hour and a half if you use a charging cube instead of relying on USB charging from a laptop. That two hours will get you a solid hour of use before it starts to lose power and eventually turn off.

From my experience, the battery life is more than enough.

My Experience Using It

The first thing I always do with prostate massagers is to lube them up, heavily. It has only been about a year that I've been comfortable shoving inside of me, Angela has been instrumental in me being comfortable enough to do it. And, I'll admit it isn't fair to hold out for the occasional anal session but insisting that my posterior is completely off limits. Anyways, I lubed it up and got it ready to be inserted.

How Does It Feel?

The design makes it very easy to push in, I held the handle firmly and gently moved it towards my prostate. The curve is gentle but still goes into the right place, I know because I get a little shiver when it finally sits properly. I wasn't ever worried about inserting it too much because the flare on the base is pretty large. As far as long-term comfort, the bottom of the toy is slim but not as slim as other options, it's not well suited for extremely long sessions.

The only complaint I have is that there's no remote or app control, I have to reach behind myself to change the settings. Also, because a few inches of the toy extend out from the anus, there's no chance of you sitting down or laying on your back while it is in use.

The vibrations are strong but not as overpowering as the Hugo and I like the variety available, if you've never had a hands-free orgasm the Loki is a great way to figure out what kind of stimulation works on your prostate best. I usually get three to four sessions out of it on a single charge, which is more than enough for me to be satisfied.

How Big Is It?

The toy itself is completely straight in design with a flared base that's wide enough to ensure it never gets inserted too far inside, it has a total length of 7.7 inches with 3.9 inches of it being insertable. The widest part of the toy has a diameter of 1.5 inches which might be too big for some but they do come much larger, the range is usually from one to two inches in diameter so the Loki is quite literally the middle of the road as far as diameter is concerned.

For me, the Loki is the perfect length to reach my prostate and it's wide enough to fit snugly inside my bum without too much discomfort. It's not too wide, or too long, however my rectum might be different than yours.

The only way to know which size of prostate massager will work for you is to try them out. If you're new, I'd start with a toy such as the Lelo Hugo to get started since it's not very wide in diameter compared to the Loki.

Where I Bought Mine

I purchased my Lelo Loki from the official Lelo website

The only place you should ever buy Lelo toys from is their website in my opinion because there are countless knock-offs floating around online retailers.

You can get 15% off by using coupon code "DRCLIMAX" at checkout. Click here to redeem!

If you decide to shop somewhere else, just be cautious. If you see a price that seems a bit too good to be true, it probably is.

How To Use It

The Lelo Loki is a pretty simple toy to use, especially if you've ever used a prostate massager before.

However, for those reading that haven't used a prostate massager before or those that would like to learn how to use the Loki to it's full potential, listen up.

Settings & Controls

As you can hopefully see by the picture (my apologies for the small image size), there are 4 buttons on the Loki that easily allow you to control the toy to suit your liking.

The buttons are a step up from other Lelo toys I've tried and they require a firm push to be used (which is ideal for sex toys, as buttons can easily be pressed accidentally during play).

It comes with 6 different vibration patterns and all of them can be adjusted to different vibration intensities.

The vibration patterns are as follows: (my best description of each as they don't have names)

I'd like to remind you that each of these settings can have their intensity played with with the plus and minus buttons.

  • Setting #1 - A steady constant vibration
  • Setting #2 - One second of vibration, followed by a one second pause, then repeats.
  • Setting #3 - Two separate one second vibrations, followed by a one second pause.
  • Setting #4 - A slow intensity build-up from low vibration to high.
  • Setting #5 - A slow intensity build-up, then reverses back to low vibration, then repeats.
  • Setting # 6 - Totally random vibration pattern, its totally different every time.

Cleaning & Maintenance

The only maintenance this toy requires is to be cleaned (ideally after every session).

Since it's obviously designed to be inserted into the rectum, it's not always the cleanest toy after I use it.

I recommend cleaning it just like you would any other silicone sex toy, I've written an in-depth sex toy cleaning guide if you'd like to learn more.

Do I Recommend It?

If you couldn't tell by reading the review, I highly recommend the Loki to any man looking for for a strong prostate toy capable of providing excellent stimulation.

Don't just take my recommendation though, see what other customers had to say about it by reading verified customer reviews at Lelo!

Parting Words

While it is atypical as far as anal toys go because of the handle design, it is still a worthwhile addition to my ever-growing box of things I shove into my no-go zone. I'd say its a worthwhile choice for beginners as far as the vibrations on offer but the wide diameter might be a put off to some. The wider diameter is offset by how subtle the curve is on the toy, toys with a more aggressive curve require a bit more careful insertion and tend to disturb the area a bit more.

I usually grab it when I want a quick prostate orgasm with little to no fuss as opposed to toys I'd expect to have inserted for a longer amount of time.
